Sinopsis

When her old resistance buddies come to her looking for someone to helm a financially troubled liberal newspaper, Judith (Simone Signoret) is at first reluctant, but for this old hero of the French anti-Nazi resistance, challenges are hard to ignore. She takes on the job, mortgaging her house to keep the paper solvent. When things take a turn for the worse, because of concerted opposition by conservative forces, she is forced to sell the paper, and she regards this as a personal failure.

¡Me encantó Judith Therpauve! No me lo esperaba tan buena. Simone Signoret lo da todo en pantalla y se nota la mano de Patrice Chéreau en cada plano. Si te gusta el cine, es un must de (1978).

Judith Therpauve es de esas pelis que te enganchan desde el minuto uno. Buena historia, personajes creíbles y momentos que te dejan pensando. Patrice Chéreau ha hecho un trabajo brutal, y eso se nota.

No suelo ver mucho cine, pero con Judith Therpauve hice una excepción… ¡y qué bien hice! El papel de Simone Signoret es lo mejor de la peli. La recomiendo a ojos cerrados.
