Sinopsis
Brussels in the year 1568, as the Flemish people are fighting against the tyranny of the Spanish occupiers. Led by Count de Rysoor, the revolt against the ruthless Duke of Alba, is meant to help Prince William of Orange to get into the city and come to power. Now, the count's lieutenant, has an affair with Elisabeth, Rysoor's wife. For the time being, the count, who thinks of his homeland first, turns a blind eye. But such a relationship might well undermine the whole rebellion movement.

¡Me encantó Patrie! No me lo esperaba tan buena. Pierre Blanchar lo da todo en pantalla y se nota la mano de Louis Daquin en cada plano. Si te gusta el cine, es un must de (1946).

Patrie es de esas pelis que te enganchan desde el minuto uno. Buena historia, personajes creíbles y momentos que te dejan pensando. Louis Daquin ha hecho un trabajo brutal, y eso se nota.

No suelo ver mucho cine, pero con Patrie hice una excepción… ¡y qué bien hice! El papel de Pierre Blanchar es lo mejor de la peli. La recomiendo a ojos cerrados.
