Sinopsis

A bold challenge, a fearless experiment and ultimately, a spectacular failure. In 2001, sports entertainment titans Ebersol and McMahon launched the XFL. It was hardly the first time a league had tried to compete with the NFL, but the brash audacity of the bid, combined with the personalities and charisma of Ebersol and McMahon and the marketing behemoths of their respective companies -- NBC and WWE -- captured headlines and a sense of undeniable anticipation about what was to come.

¡Me encantó This Was the XFL! No me lo esperaba tan buena. Dick Ebersol lo da todo en pantalla y se nota la mano de Charlie Ebersol en cada plano. Si te gusta el cine, es un must de (2017).

This Was the XFL es de esas pelis que te enganchan desde el minuto uno. Buena historia, personajes creíbles y momentos que te dejan pensando. Charlie Ebersol ha hecho un trabajo brutal, y eso se nota.

No suelo ver mucho cine, pero con This Was the XFL hice una excepción… ¡y qué bien hice! El papel de Dick Ebersol es lo mejor de la peli. La recomiendo a ojos cerrados.
