Born in Cairo, Egypt on September 6, 1934, Ragaa Al-Giddawy was an iconic figure in the Egyptian entertainment industry. She studied at the Institute of Theatrical Arts where her passion for acting was nurtured and cultivated.

Ragaa Al-Giddawy started her career in the entertainment industry as a model, and in 1958, she won the title of Miss Egypt, an achievement that propelled her into the limelight. However, it was her foray into acting that truly set her apart. She made her acting debut in the film "Ressalah Min Emraa Maghoula" in 1963. Over the years, she appeared in more than 370 films, soap operas, plays, and television shows, becoming one of the most recognizable faces in the Middle East.
