Sinopsis de la temporada 2

La segunda edición se emitió entre el 22 de septiembre y el 12 de noviembre de 2008, si bien los resúmenes de los cástines se emitieron previamente desde el 1 de septiembre. Nuria Roca repitió como conductora, esta vez en colaboración con Eduardo Yanes, en el papel de X-Man, como reportero del programa. Repitieron también los tres miembros del jurado, aunque en esta ocasión Miqui Puig se encargó de los mayores de 25 años, Jorge Flo fue el responsable de los grupos vocales y Eva Perales tuvo asignados a los solistas de 16 a 24 años. El número de concursantes participantes aumentó a 15 y, como novedad, a mitad del concurso se incorporó una nueva participante, elegida en un casting virtual a través de la web del programa.
